British government deploys new strategy to tackle street crime


A boxing club set up by a man that was shot and killed four years ago works to keep men off the streets. Ensuring support for community-led projects like this is part of a new government strategy to tackle violent crime in London.

London’s violent crime has risen dramatically in the last few years.

As a result, the government is supporting community-led projects to tackle violent crime in the city.

This boxing club is on those project that tries to keep men and boys off the streets, out of gangs, and most importantly, alive.
